How an order runs

What happens between your artwork and a box of finished shirts, what each decoration method is good at, and the questions we get asked most. If you would rather just get a number, the quote builder is faster.

The five steps

Five steps. The two that decide your date are yours: approving the proof, and getting the deposit to us.

Pick a garment

Tees, fleece, polos and caps, with the sizes each style actually runs.

Tell us about the design

Send the artwork or just describe it. Working out the method and the colors is our job.

We quote it and proof it

One all-in per-piece price, your run date, and a proof to look at before anything is ordered.

You approve, and pay 50%

Your date is booked from the day you approve the proof. New customers pay 50% to hold the run.

We print, you collect

4 working days on the press, then the remaining 50% before it leaves us.

The one deadline that moves your date

Your approved proof and your deposit both need to be with us 2 working days before your run date. That is when the job is entered, the screens are made and your blanks are checked in.

If either one is still outstanding at that point the job comes off the schedule and takes the next opening, which is usually another 4 to 7 working days. It is not two days late, it is the next slot. We will chase you before it gets there.

Three ways to decorate

Not sure which one your artwork needs? You don't have to be. Send us the design and we'll tell you which method suits it, how fast it runs and what it costs.

Questions worth answering

Can you hit our date?

Tell us when you need them and we work backwards. Production is 4 working days for screen print, 5 for DTF and 7 for embroidery, plus a 2-day buffer. That clock starts the day you approve your proof, not the day you ask us, so the fastest way to protect your date is to turn the proof around quickly. If a date is not achievable we say so immediately rather than discovering it in week two.

When do we pay, and how much?

For new customers, 50% up front and 50% before the order leaves us. The deposit is what books your slot on the press, so nothing is printed until it has cleared, and the balance is due before you collect or we ship. Schools and districts working on a purchase order are the exception, and there is a question about that further down.

How do I know which kind of printing we need?

You don't. That is the part we do. Send us the artwork, or describe it, and we work out whether it should be screen printed, embroidered or printed in full color, how many passes it takes and what that costs. You should not have to count the colors in your own logo to get a price.

Is that price the shirt only, or does it include printing?

It includes the printing. Every figure here is for the finished, decorated garment: the shirt, the print or embroidery, and the setup, in one per-piece number, with nothing added later. Extended sizes cost us more to buy, so those are shown separately rather than averaged into everyone else's shirt. The prices on the site are guides for a typical job; we confirm your exact number when we quote you.

Do you handle purchase orders and school billing?

Yes, and a PO takes the place of the deposit. Schools and districts usually cannot pay anything before delivery, so an approved PO books your run the same way 50% down would. Email us with your PO process and we will work to it. Card checkout is being built for everyone else.

What if we need to reorder next season?

We keep your artwork and the exact garment, color and thread on file, so a reorder matches what you had rather than being close. Screens and digitizing are already paid for on the first run.

Ready to put a number on it?

Pick a garment and tell us the quantity. The estimate comes back straight away and we confirm it against your artwork.
